Promoting A New Product? Targeted Leads Build Your Customer Base.

If you are marketing a new product or service, using targeted leads is an essential tool to build your customer base. If you don’t know what magazine leads or sweepstakes leads lists have to do with your product, you haven’t been paying enough attention to consumer psychology–read on and find out.

Promoting a brand new product, especially as a small business or an independent affiliate isn’t easy. Even if you have a fantastic product that you know people will love, it’s sometimes surprisingly difficult to make those first few sales. And those first few sales are crucial.

Once your product is out in the marketplace, it can begin to promote itself. For most consumers, familiarity and brand recognition are the most powerful lures. That’s why the first sales are the hardest to make–to most buyers, that is. There’s another type of consumer who loves to buy the new and unusual, who doesn’t stop to think twice if it’s something they’ve seen somewhere else or a name they recognize.

This is your best potential customer. They’re called impulse buyers and they’re your ticket to steady sales. Impulse buyers are risk takers, in one sense, but they’re also trendsetters. They’re the ones who get the products off the shelf and into the market place, where more skittish personalities can see them in use.

And this is where targeted leads lists become your best friend. A list of lottery leads, for example is a list of impulse buyers, ready to take a chance on something new.
